Liafarm in collaboration with the Department of Environment & Adaptation to Climate Change of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and 80 primary school students participated in the voluntary cleaning of Kellarios Ormos’s coast, on Friday 20 & 27 May.
This initiative is part of the annual European Coastal Clean-up Campaign, which is coordinated for Greece by the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association.
Students from two primary schools of the city, the 23rd Elementary School of Kalamaria and the 3rd Elementary School of Thessaloniki, attended In this action, as part of the educational program of the Vafopouleio Cultural Center, with the topic “I take care of the coasts of my city”, while valuable helpers were the volunteers of the Greek Rescue Team.
